Incubation :: Exchange Program / Collaboration

To encourage exposure to global markets and user testing, NDBI has signed MoUs with international incubators like Konstfak, Sweden and Delft University, Netherlands. NDBI is looking forward to signing more MoUs in win-win partnership with other international incubators.

Under this program, in exchange of 2 incubatees' visit to NDBI from Sweden, Samarth Mungali visited Sweden for a month to do a market survey for his innovation 'Acceptor'.

The following 2 incubatees from Sweden were part of the exchange program who visited NDBI:

1. Nicolas Richard, a Fashion Designer from Sweden made a collection of 14 garments using fabric and manufacturing facilities available in India. (insert photo-newsletter)
2. Linda Sjunnesson, a Textile Interior Designer from Sweden blended Indian culture and tradition into traditional textile and interiors of Sweden. Her objective was to learn different techniques in textile, to refine into a collection for the European market and /or Indian market. (insert photo-newsletter)

Another exchange incubatee, Annamaja Segtnan, a Product Designer from Transit, Sweden is currently working on a project at NDBI. She is building a functional prototype Ecoloove, ecological toilets
for informal cities.
