The Fair was inaugurated at 11.30 am on 12th December 2007 by Shri Mahendra Jain, IAS, Principal Secretary, Commerce & Industries, Government of Karnataka, in presence of Mr. Antonio Amellini, Italian Ambassador to India and Mr HK Mittal, Adviser & Head (NEB) DST, New Delhi.

Himanshu Khatri explains about his Innovation research project for Honeywell to Shri Mahendra Jain, IAS. The project entailed utilizing the clients existing technology base for generating social and economic value via new products and systems.
