About Us

National Design Business Incubator (NDBI) established in 2003 is an initiative of the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad set up with the support of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi.

NDBI is the first and the only one design-led business incubator in the country. It is incorporated as a non-profit organization under section 25 of Companies Act in March 2009.  

In addition to physical infrastructural support NDBI is providing the following support:

• NDBI-VRF Scheme
• MSME incubator Scheme
• TePP scheme for innovators
• IPR services
